Common Questions Before You Rent
Here are the answers to the questions we hear most often — so you can rent with confidence.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A refundable security deposit is required at booking. The deposit amount varies by equipment type and is displayed clearly during checkout. It is returned in full when the equipment comes back undamaged and on time.What happens if the equipment is damaged?
The renter is responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear. We recommend inspecting the equipment at pickup and noting any pre-existing marks on the condition form. Repair costs are deducted from the security deposit; costs exceeding the deposit are billed separately.Can MLB Rents deliver the equipment to my site?
Delivery and pickup service is available within our service area for an additional fee. Select the delivery option during booking and enter your site address — the delivery fee will calculate automatically based on distance.What ID or documentation do I need to rent?
A valid government-issued photo ID is required at pickup for all rentals. For certain heavy equipment, a signed operator certification or proof of experience may be required. Contact us if you have questions about a specific item.What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled rental start receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations within 48 hours may forfeit the deposit. Please contact MLB Rents as early as possible if your plans change.
